Bike Lanes

As the cost of fuel goes up more and more people are using bicycles for commuting to work.

People are saying that bicycles are good for the environment and will eventually save the planet, which Toronto is located on.

Bikes go really slow and cars go real fast so the amount of bike accidents have increased where more cyclists are killed every year.

More people want bike lanes for protection from the cars that hit them.

A certain percentage of cyclists do not obey the rules of the road and ride their bikes irresponsibly sometimes causing accidents.

When I am elected Mayor of Toronto I will bring in more bike lanes for licensed adult cyclists who would be tested every five years.

For segregated bike lanes that have a physical barrier electronic tolls would be installed.

All licensed adult bicyclists will be required to install license plates front and back of their bikes.

Responsible bicyclists will make the bike lane program into a safe and enjoyable experience.
