Temporary Housing

Our city elected government is the most educated people around unfortunately thinking are not one of their strong points.

The homeless situation is still growing and our city government is doing very little to get them temporary housing so they do not have to live on the streets and die on the streets.

Toronto gets very cold in the wintertime and wind chills can be devastating for a person that does not have enough warm clothing.

Our city government's plan of action is to leave the homeless Torontonians on the street and encourage our citizens to try to pressure the other levels of governments to do more.

When we elected our city government we expected them to fix things not tell us to complain to the other levels of government.

When I am elected Mayor of Toronto I will change this.

Because of the downturn of the economy and a worldwide recession there is an oversupply of shipping containers where company once used to ship their wares on trains and ships.

They are 40 feet long and can be easily converted into liveable space for families and individuals who are homeless.

This would strictly be short-term housing until the people's issues can be dealt with.

The money would come from the business advertisements.
