of it as acreage in stacks, not spreads
Vertical
farming high-rises, with intensive hydroponics packed onto every level.
Food
for thousands of people a year
Experts
say that some of the best land for farming is under the pavement of our cities
Because
the gas price are rising it just cost a lot more to ship our food here
"Vertical
farming is not subject to the vagaries of climate, infestation, or the nutrient cycle
of crop rotation, dense hydroponics agriculture can all but guarantee yields - late
frost, early thaw or whatever else."
Vertical
farming is a moneymaker and a job creator.
Grocery
stores would benefit by this technology and the consumers would have the opportunity
to buy safe foods.
When
I am elected Mayor of Toronto I will cut the usual red tape and help developers to
make Vertical farming a reality in the city of Toronto
